For this bespoke hospitality furniture project in Fuerteventura, Bagon Contract developed custom-made pieces specifically designed for an open, natural environment. From the outset, the goal was to create durable, light-filled spaces that feel closely connected to the island’s volcanic landscape.
An open concept inspired by island living
Hotel Broncemar Beach Suites is conceived as an oasis surrounded by gardens, palm trees and lush vegetation. For this reason, the design embraces spacious layouts and a strong relationship between indoor and outdoor areas.
At the reception, large structures made of natural oak beams organize the space. At the same time, these elements frame the reception counters finished in volcanic-inspired marble, reinforcing a sense of local identity.
Common areas designed for openness
To enhance the perception of space, only a few monumental elements are introduced. However, each piece incorporates clear references to the island’s materials and colour palette.
Moreover, large windows and an open-plan concept maximise the entry of natural light. As a result, the interior establishes a continuous dialogue with the rocky landscape and the sea breeze.
Guestrooms designed for rest
In the desks and TV panels, the combination of white finishes, wood and natural textiles creates a clean, serene and highly functional atmosphere.
Likewise, the headboard blends natural raffia-style textiles with white finishes. In this way, the sleeping area remains consistent with the island’s traditional architecture and relaxed lifestyle.
Additionally, this approach enhances the durability of the furniture in environments with high humidity and intense sun exposure.
