The Hotel Benidorm Plaza building stands as one of the most recognisable silhouettes on the skyline of the city with the highest number of skyscrapers per capita. Its impressive 17-storey tower houses 229 guest rooms, all of which have been fully refurbished to meet the evolving demands of today’s hospitality sector.
At night, the main tower becomes a landmark thanks to its distinctive three illuminated vertical lines. Inside, the guest room tower has undergone a complete furniture update, designed to align with guest preferences and enhance comfort throughout the stay.
Custom-designed headboards span the full width of the wall, alternating white and grey bands to clearly define the sleeping area and bedside zones. Integrated LED lighting above the headboard provides soft, indirect illumination—ideal for relaxation—while highlighting the wallpaper design, which features stylised faces drawn with flowing, sinuous lines.
The bedside tables follow a minimalist, highly functional approach. Their open design keeps essentials within easy reach while eliminating the risk of leaving items behind in a drawer.
The desk, crafted in the same material as the headboard, is supported by a powder-coated metal structure to ensure durability over time. Wall panelling combines vertical slats, smooth panels and mirrored surfaces, visually expanding the space and enhancing the sense of openness in the room.
The primary goal of this project was to modernise the hotel’s facilities while respecting the existing structure and the allocated budget. The result is a clean, minimalist update accented with subtle touches of colour that bring movement and vitality to the interiors.
A design approach perfectly in tune with a city that has something to offer at any hour of the day—and night.
