Idou Anfa is one of the most iconic hotels in Morocco’s economic capital. At its core, it brings together the richness of Arab luxury with a contemporary sensibility. Rather than distancing itself from the country’s architectural and decorative heritage, enhances and elevates it.
From the moment you step inside, you let yourself be carried away by a modern take on One Thousand and One Nights, across the Mediterranean. In this context, tradition and modernity coexist seamlessly, creating an athmosphere that feels both refined and immersive.
The striking façade—veined black marble accented with gold lettering—opens onto an interior of refined luxury that instantly transports guests to another era.
Warm walnut tones and wall panelling with subtle geometric patterns create an inviting atmosphere, enhanced by indirect LED lighting, also installed by Bagon Contract.
Each room category explores a different colour palette while, at the same time, remaining faithful to a single concept: true excellence lies in the smallest details. In this sense, a floating, lacquered desk contrasts elegantly with the luggage rack and TV panel, thus creating a balanced composition where contrasts work in perfect harmony.
One of the standout elements of the project is the custom-made dressing area. Walnut-finished interiors are paired with bronze smoked glass doors framed by ultra-slim black profiles. Integrated LED lighting enhances the smoky tones of the glass, transforming this space into a place where the morning ritual of getting ready becomes an experience rather than a routine.
To begin with, wall panelling and auxiliary furniture in metallic finishes, marble and leather engage in a refined dialogue, whereby the nobility of the materials and the precision of craftsmanship take centre stage.
Meanwhile, the upholstered headboard, finished in a soft velvet fabric, is flanked by two bedside tables of different shapes. In turn, the combination of curved forms and metallic finishes — developed exclusively for this project — adds depth and character to the room, reinforcing its distinctive identity.
Undoubtedly, the bar counter stands out as one of the most spectacular features of the hotel. In fact, its front is handcrafted in capitonné upholstery, with more than 300 buttons sewn by hand. Moreover, the suspended bottle display in chromed metal and glass, together with the bar stools — both designed and manufactured exclusively for this project — complete the scene with a striking sense of elegance and sophistication.
In the bathrooms, white marble and limestone serve as the backdrop for functional vanity units and round mirrors, also supplied by Bagon Muebles. Across the different room types, moisture-resistant panels and metal structures ensure durability without compromising on aesthetics.
Subtle golden accents in the wardrobes catch and reflect the LED lighting through the glass, adding a final touch of understated sophistication.
