Project: Hotel Jaime I
Location: Benidorm, Spain
Date: 2026
Elements: Rooms
Benidorm is one of the most competitive hotel markets in Spain, and a three-star hotel that wants to stand out has to look after what guests see and touch every day. Hotel Jaime I has done exactly that by renewing the furniture in 50 of its rooms. At Bagon Muebles we manufactured every piece to measure: desk and minibar units, luggage racks, bedside tables and headboards.
A comfortable, family-friendly hotel in central Benidorm
Hotel Jaime I is a three-star hotel with 104 rooms, in the centre of Benidorm and about 200 metres from Poniente Beach. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, with a café, a buffet restaurant, a swimming pool and gardens. Comfort is its greatest asset, so the room renovation aimed to make guests’ rest and everyday routines even easier.
Custom hotel room furniture: what we manufactured for Jaime I Hotel
The design combines melamine with a black metal structure. The result is furniture that is durable, easy to maintain and clean and contemporary in style. Those pieces are:
Desk and minibar unit. One piece that solves two needs. It includes a minibar module with a door, two open shelves on the side and a metal frame that acts as legs. The unit looks light, with clean lines and useful space exactly where it is needed.
Luggage racks. A black square-tube frame with a board on top. Simple, sturdy and practical, they are built for the intensive use of a hotel.
Bedside tables. A compact cabinet with a melamine top on a metal frame. They echo the language of the rest of the furniture and keep everything guests need within reach.
Wall-mounted headboard. This is the piece that gives the room its character. Additionally it combines melamine with grooves that reveal the core of the board, in a black finish that matches the metal frames of the other pieces. LED lighting behind it projects a soft glow onto the wall, creating a warm atmosphere and making the room feel larger. Because it is wall-mounted, it also makes cleaning the floor easier.
In a hotel project, furniture has to look good, but it also has to last, be easy to clean and arrive on time. That is why we work with high-resistance materials, metal structures and serial manufacturing with uniform finishes across every unit. This way, every room in the same hotel offers guests the same experience.
